David Leather 
 
David Leather is Concordia’s CEO, and with 45 years of experience in the insurance industry, he knows exactly what people need when they are looking for comprehensive insurance within community organisations.
 
David has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the needs of these organisations. With this in mind along with the joint venture partners of All Churches Insurance Bureau and A&M, he set out to create New Zealand’s only specific insurance provider for the faith education, charity, and care sectors.
 
David has a well established reputation within the industry, especially in these niche markets, which is why Lloyds of London support Concordia with substantial underwriting capacity. Additionally, his experience working with community and church organisations following the Christchurch earthquakes gives him unique insights into helping organisations when the worst happens.

 
Andrean  Koesmawan

Andrean joined Concordia in 2018 as an Underwriter. He puts his insurance knowledge and his passion for charity, care, faith and education sectors to work every day to price risks accurately and provide quality service to brokers, our client and our key stakeholders.

In 2022, Andrean was promoted to Principal Agency Underwriter role where both of his technical ability and analytical approach have become invaluable assets to Concordia in providing comprehensive insurance with competitive premiums.

Joanne Hunter
 
With more than 30 years in the insurance industry, Joanne Hunter has an exceptional set of skills that she brings to the table as our Operations Manager.

She began by working in personal lines insurance for AMI Insurance in 1989 and worked in both the Claims and Underwriting departments. In 2004 she moved into commercial underwriting at Ansvar Insurance, primarily working in the underwriting department, helping process insurance for churches, schools and community-based organisations.
In 2012 she became an insurance broker, and continued working with church property insurances, as well as placing and processing large research-based and manufacturing companies’ property programmes.

Joanne joined Concordia Underwriting Agency in 2015 as Principal Agency Underwriter, then in 2021 moved into managing Agency Operations. Joanne has become an integral part of Concordia and has a vision of providing market leading insurance along with the rest of the team.
